Introducing SAS!

I would like to introduce you to SAS or
Simply Amazing Scrappers!

A friend of mine, Amy Reed, and I are going to start hosting scrapbook retreats.  With the help from my good friend Linda we came up with this name.  Let me tell you coming up with a catchy name that also describes what you are trying to do is hard.  We wanted to take something using our initals (A for Amy and S for Stephanie). I liked the Amazingly Sassy Scrappers but as you can see that doesn't work well when you just take the initals.  Anyway, I think the name we ulitmately chose is Simply Amazing...haha.

I love scrapbooking, lately it is one of the few things that makes me feel proud of myself.  You can create something beautiful, make someone smile if you give it to them, and it also helps you remember a special moment or event that really meant something to you.  I love scrapbooking Super Daughter, it reminds me how special she is to me and it often reminds me how stinking funny she is; class clown is definitely in her future and a trip to the principal's office is definitely in my future.  This fantastic hobby means so much to me and I love sharing it with others.  I get excited when someone else discovers this joy that I have.  It's also wonderful to make new friends.

Simply Amazing Scrappers is hosting our first All Day Scrapbook Retreat February 12th at Oak Grove Community Center in Sylacauga, AL.  The event will be from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.  The cost for this all day extravaganza will be $25 and include lunch and dinner.  We will also be giving away door prizes throughout the day. You will earn tickets just for coming and then be given other opportunties to earn more.

If you are interested in attending or need more information email me at stephaniebrooks42@gmail.com

It will be Simply Amazing!!!

Want to get into Scrapbooking?

Have you ever went into your storage area and opened the boxes you have there only to find tons and tons of pictures and think why do I have my memories thrown into a big ugly brown box?  Have you ever wondered what you could do with them?  Have you ever thought about making a scrapbook to honor memories of the past? Wouldn't it be nice to have these pictures organized for my children to see?

If you said yes to any of these questions then scrapbooking is for you!  What better way to start then with Close to My Heart products.  I know some of you are sitting there and thinking I just not creative, well CTMH offers products to get your creative juices going. This month CTMH is offering special pricing on stamp sets when you order the Wings Workshop on the go.  The WOTG has everything you need, minus adhesive and ink, to start a scrapbook. A workshop guide is also included to show you step by step how to make the most from your paper. This beautiful product is also perfect for even the most advanced scrapbooker.  The Wings paper pack would also make beautiful Mother's Day or Valentine Cards.  Want to see the brochure go to http://www.closetomyheart.com/ and look under products to view the brochure.
